__FRISCHER USES HER STRENGTHS, WHICH ARE COLOUR AND VISION, TO OFFER AN EXPERIENCE TO THE COLLECTOR MUCH AS THEATRE DOES. AFTER 25 YEARS OF LIVING IN LONDON WITH AN EXTENSIVE GLOBAL RECORD OF EXHIBITIONS, THE WORK IS NOW AVAILABLE VIA THIS WEB SITE, AS WELL AS IN LONDON, ENGLAND AND SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA.

Patricia Frischer
, (b 1948, Kansas City) is a graduate of the California College of Arts and Crafts (MFA in sculpture). Frischer has taken on the roles of gallerist, curator, writer, teacher, website coordinator and artist. Her many metamorphoses make her difficult to fit into any of the usual art world categories. She is a painter/sculptor, lecturer to artist on marketing and patrons on collecting, instructor of art professional, and author of a book, “The Artist in the Marketplace.” She was director of a sales gallery in London and was head of an international art department in Nottinghill Gate in London where she lived full time for 25 years.  She was also an assistant professor of Art at Humboldt State University.  She was a board member of the Combined Organization for Visual Arts (COVA) San Diego where she coordinated the region wide Open Studios Tours and the Collectors Round Table panel discussions.  Ms. Frischer now trains artist agents, dealers, consultants and collectors (www.ArtProCA.com) and is presently the coordinator of the San Diego Visual Arts Network (www.SDVisualArts.net) which publishes the SmART Collector feature and sponsors the SD Art Prize. Her own artwork  (www.DrawsCrowd.com) has been shown internationally and her most recent one person show was at Oxford University. Frischer describes herself as a neo-narrative artist who uses her strengths which are color and vision to offers an experience to the collector much as theatre does. The works is alarmingly literal, wittily verbal, surreally funny, flagrantly person, daringly fun and always mysterious. She now lives and works in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Ca and London, England with her second husband Darwin Slindee.
