This is individual tuition for
entrepreneurs interested in representing artists and helping to promote their
careers.Each course is custom design and
scheduled for your needs.

Artist Agent Training Course
This short course is four, two hour sessions and can be completed at your own pace of time weekly, monthly or even over a year. The cost is $200 for all four sessions. There is a discount of $50 if you join a group taking the course for the first two sessions.

- Overview of the arts marketing world with specifics of the San Diego art scene.

Artist Agent Training Course

- Lesson one: Overview of
the arts marketing world with specific of San Diego art scene. This places
the role of an artist agent in a context.
Homework: choose art galleries you admire, read a general book on marketing for artist, start a short list of artists for your agency
- Lesson two: Collectors -
who and where is the new market and what methods do we have for connecting
to this group
Homework: Write up a page or two of your future vision of what you want to be doing in 2 years time
- Lesson three: future
model - 7 S for linear thinkers or circular diagram for right brained
persons which is the first stage of making a project based strategic plan
Homework: Fill in your phases and actions plan using the artist agent definition sheet to finish your strategic plan
- Lesson four: Detailed
questions and answers about the artist agent function going step by step
through the agent definition sheet
Homework: Choose goals set in the viability phase of the strategic plan to start your agency.
